How I can help
I provide couple counselling and individual counselling on intimate, family and work relationships. I work with individuals on relationship issues and anxiety, including feeling sad, family issues, affairs and betrayals, separation and divorce, and addiction, including sex addiction.
About Me
I trained with Relate and have an M.A. with Distinction in Relationship Therapy. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with couples and with individuals on all aspects of relationship counselling and anxiety.
I have a first and post-graduate degree in economics and worked in business change management which led me to an interest in personal change and my own career change. I bring practical knowledge of the ‘real world’ and its challenges to relationships.
‘No man is an island’ (John Donne, 1572-1631)
Relationships are integral to all aspects of our lives: as parents, children, siblings, friends and colleagues. The search for a fulfilling romantic relationship is a primary human drive. Relationships are fundamental to human happiness. While relationships represent a place of security and safety, they can be a cause of pain. Problems around low mood, anxiety, stress and addiction always have a relational dimension, for example in their origin or impact on people’s lives.
